OP, sorry for the "troll" call out...she does this on every thread.
That said, get used to your kids calling you all sorts of names besides whatever diminutive of mom you prefer. People, including your nanny, will call you by your first name, nicknames, and maybe (hopefully not but who can tell) some not so nice names in front of your kids for the rest of your lives.
Kids are parrots for a while...and then they figure out it is funny to call you something else (did your 16 year old self never exasperatedly call your mom her first name?
).
Making an issue of this with your nanny will not solve the "problem" and will likely just breed resentment. Correct your child if it really bugs you but you simply can not insist that everyone who speaks to you in front of your child address you as "mom". I mean you can try, but...

My husband and I call each other "honey" and for awhile DD was saying "thank you honey" because that's what she heard 10xday. It was a short phase but super cite. Try to appreciate it for what it is - it won't last long.

My kids have all gone through a stage where they use my name in some contexts. My home office used to be upstairs while everything else was downstairs. I came to realize that they just thought you were supposed to yell "Amy" really loudly if you wanted me to come down (thanks, DH).

I expect to call my employer by name, then the child(ren) and I discuss the parents using whatever form of mother and father the parents prefer. The parents call me by name, but when they talk to the child about me, I'm Miss X. When I talk to a child's teacher, I call the teacher by name, as the teacher has offered it, but talking to the child it's always Mr. or Ms. Y. This is part of teaching children proper manners. There is no reason for adults to call each other Mommy and Daddy to model the language skills unless you are constantly talking to each other and never to the child.

I always refer to my boss by their first name when speaking to them directly, but rude for her to them as mommy or daddy when speaking to my charge.
"Good morning Mary"
"Do you want mommy to read that book with you?"
"Let's say goodbye to mommy she has to go to work."
" When mommy gets home, you can show her the picture you made."
I highly doubt that the one time a day my charge here is me speaking directly to my boss by name is going to outweigh the many times we talk about my boss indirectly as pertains to my charge.

Which is great but DC is getting confused. He is 2 and when nanny says, "Good Morning, Mary", DC repeats "Mary" and not "Mommy".
What do you guys do about this? Generally, DH and I refer to each other as Mommy and Daddy in front of DC.
