I drive my own car. My employers bought seats for my car. They pretty much stay installed unless I need the space. I also take them out about once a month over the weekend to get my car washed.

I drive my own car with them. The toddler's Britax stays in the car all the time and the baby's bucket seat base comes out if I need more space on the weekends for people.

our nanny drives her car and we purchased a third seat that she keeps in her car. she is more than welcome to leave it at our house in the evenings/weekends but she says she doesn't use her backseat that often. she knows how to install them so we don't have issues if she takes it out/puts it back in for her own convenience

We supply our nanny with a car. That way we know the car seats are always in properly. I use a cheap, old car for commuting.

For those nannies or families with nannies who drive 1 or 2 charges to class, parks, the museum, etc., do you use your own car or one supplied by them? If using your own car, do you usually take one or both car seats out for the weekend?

Thanks!
