Nanny networks are great, of course send your feelers out!
Same when you need a last minute personal day, find a sub via your network!

I would hate to help find someone and them not work out.

Tell us about the schedule and how it changes.

You are ridiculous.

If it wouldn't be helpful to any of your friends looking for work - and if you don't have any ideas about how to get the word out, okay, sure it's not your job - no obligation on your part. But it's usually beneficial to all parties involved to help get the word out - so if you can, why not? It may really help a friend out.

I would never help out a bad employer. Sorry.

Seems like they don't want to pay enough for the level of "flexibility" they want. I would not help them unless they could pay an appropriate wage for what they're demanding.

Only if you are paid extra to do so and even then, I would not.

Has she been nice to you? It doesn't sound like it.

Why?
ONLY if she's been good to you, OP.

No its not your job. If you know somebody , you can recommend.
Why the hell is the nanny responsibility to find the replacement. You already gave them notice. Any way tell her there are so many nannies looking for job in dcurbanmom.com.

It's always difficult to replace a good nanny, isn't it? And no, it's not your job to do it for her.

Ask around at the places you take your charge - library story time, Music Together class, Mommy & Me classes. Generally someone knows someone who is great and available. Ask your nanny friends or nannies you see frequently.

If she doesn't know about care.com, help her set up an account and write an ad for her. Suggest agencies that you have heard good things about.

I have given my notice for work and the mom very upset and says it'll be difficult to replace me. I would love to help them replace me but is that my place? She has asked me to help but not sure how I should go about finding someone.
