You are very lucky. While I have had wonderful, generous and exceptional employers in the past, I do have two very difficult employers right now. DCUM can be indicative of real life - my life currently in point of fact.

If you want a 25-35 wage then get a new job. One in an office that requires a degree. An advanced one in this day in age.

I'd love to make 400k/yr, and no matter how much I cry and think I deserve it, I clearly don't because no one has offered to pay me that for my skill set. This is how life works.

As one sees so often on this forum, *most* parents are constantly looking to take advantage of the nanny.

Maximize what they get, minimize what they give. "My nanny doesn't have enough work to stay busy every. single. minute. What else should I tell her to do?"

I find this behavior despicably disgusting when it comes to the care of your child. Really shameful. And so goes the revolving nanny door.

Someone told these parents a dirty little lie, that they're entitled to high quality child care for a very cheap price. Wait, it's called "affordable" care that they demand. Affordable, so they can still afford everything else they're entitled to. Who do they think they're fooling?
