If I were in your shoes, I would approach her in a non-threatening manner and just ask her if she has any issues that she would like to discuss w/you and your husband.
Hopefully she will use that as a perfect segue to let you guys know what is truly bothering her.

OP wrote that it was a verbal "eye-roll" as in the tone of her voice. DH says I do it all the time.
Anyway, OP, I bet you anything that you are bugging her to death with nonsense. Pull way back for a while, show her you appreciate her and just stop whatever got you the vocal-eye-roll

Pull way back on your micromanaging and let her be. She is probably getting sick of the two of you. After two years you either trust her to have your child's best interest at heart or not. If you do trust her - leave her alone and try being more appreciative and complimentary.

We have had only one nanny and she has been great for over two years. She is quite brilliant, very funny, loves DD and goes above and beyond to find educational and fun activities for her every single day. DD adores her nanny. Nanny is educated, experienced and older - all no nonsense and no drama.
However, over the last few weeks, both DH and I have seen her give us exasperated looks when we request something - almost like a tonal "rolling of the eyes". Nanny is her same happy, exuberant self with DD but simply does not seem particularly happy with DH and me.
What, if anything, should we do?
