I think it is just a rough patch.

These things happen from time to time.

Also, now that it is Summer, perhaps a lot of college students are also vying for those same Nanny positions so you may have more competition in your job search.

Do not lose the faith OP.

Your dream job will come!

Do not over think this, OP, and freak yourself out. Go into every interview with a positive attitude and the belief that you already got the job.

BTDT. I have had some really crazy interviews lately with people thinking that they should pay market rate or lower for one child when there are special needs, extra duties and/or 4+ kids. No, not a good fit. Just keep trying to find a good fit, good luck!

You are probably not as pleasant as you believe.

Have you recently upped your rate? Any chance one of your references has become annoyed with you over something? After all your years of experience, do you now take the approach of "this is how it's done - take it or leave it"?

Calm down. Maybe you're just not meeting the right people. Maybe you're putting something out there that you didn't before. Be confident and calm - the right job will come to you if you keep searching for it.

Let me explain my situation. I have interviewed and received an offer from 8 out of 10 families I worked for. In the last 19 months, I received an offer with every family, except one. I hurt left a job that I started in January, because the mom had to close her business. I'm well experienced and qualified. Every past interview went well and I've received comments like " thank you for being so professional. We haven't seen that in other candidates." I've have gone on 7 interviews this past 4-5 weeks, with only one resulting in an offer. It was a bad fit so I declined. The interviews have gone fairly well but some were just a bad fit. I haven't done anything different. I'm hoping it's a rough patch. I'm really bummed out and feel a feeling of hopelessness.
