Hi, I'm moving to DC in a couple of months from Europe and I want someone to do cleaning, laundry and ironing, probably for about 12 hours a week. Am I right that the kind of person who would do this is a "housekeeper" and not a "cleaner"? Sorry if that sounds like a stupid question - where I live, a cleaner does all of this, but from what I have seen from posts about cleaners, it seems like cleaners in the US just clean but won't do laundry/ironing etc as well. Second, what is the usual hourly rate? Third, where do you recommend I find someone?
