Your employer, of course, should provide you with a car if that is what was promised. However, you have to be willing to accept the fact that they simply may not be able to provide you with a car. If that is the case then it will be your choice to use your own car or quit.
Where the hell are you walking and are they toddlers in strollers or walking on their own? Good fried. I walk sometimes 3 miles with my 5yr old and that alone takes about an hour.
My charge is in his stroller. Walking back and forth to morning activities and walking back and forth to the park in the afternoons. I "map-quested" it and it is 5.2 miles. (We're in Southern California - weather is rarely an issue).

If that wasn't the actual issue then why mention it in the first place? Just ask MB when they're getting a car and then proceed accordingly. You might need to adjust your expectations or find a new job if the new expectations are unacceptable to you.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I'd take the kids on the bus withou the stroller. The 5 year can walk to and from the bus stop. How old is the younger one? Perhaps ask for a lightweight umbrella stroller to take on the bus and pack bottle or thermoses of ice water.
I would too IF I hasn't been told a we would be provided when taking the job.
