No one has taken Babywise seriously since the 80s, I seriously doubt there are as many nannies running into adamant bayberries parents as this forum would lead one to believe. I'm sure it's just one person posting multiple babywise stories and made up topics.

I know of a Single DB who one night went and laid on top of his weekend nanny!!! He didn't think that anything was wrong with that. She went to the police, they didn't do anything about it. That's a crazy boss!

When they oblige the screaming toddler giving them orders, wonder why they listen so well to me, and greet me with tears in their eyes because of the terrible morning they had with the monster they created. Really? You dont see that you're doing this to yourself???

....they hire you on the spot during an in-person interview.

No reference or background checks whatsoever.

They simply take you at full face value as a sweet + kind nanny.

(Parents like this are just too damn lazy to put in the time/effort involved to securing a safe nanny.)

That's pretty hilarious, but it actually can happen. I'd be totally afraid it had happened recently and I'd be worried!!!

My employers are afraid of dirt. Germs I understand, but actual what-our-food-grows-in-dirt.

He asked me to close the on suite bathroom during nap time in case any "exoic animals" came though the toilet to eat the baby. He was mainly concerned about snake, and he was dead serious.

Any one else work for legit crazies?
