Absolutely.

The only time I'd be weary would be if it was a privately organized parent event.

Otherwise, it's usually open to any caregiver.

Definitely - our's was more mommy heavy than nanny heavy - but there was zero issue with my nanny taking my daughter

In DC, most of the weekday classes leaned heavily toward nannies. Here in the small town in Georgia we moved to, there are more mommies (or grandmas) than nannies, but our nanny is not the only one.

It is very common, OP. In our class there are more nannies than "mommies".

Yes. Even in my tiny blue-collar town there are nannies at "mommy and me" classes. I can only imagine there are many more in a major metro area.

Is this commonly done? The only "Mommy & Me" classes affiliated with a particular preschool we are interested in are on weekdays.
