You are either a troll or a ridiculous and petty little woman. I hope you are just a troll.
OP, my DS looked like Winston Churchill when he was a newborn and his nanny started calling him "Old Bean", which became "Beanie". I love it and think it is great that she has a special name for him. If anyone else tries to call him that he says, "No, only Nanny".
Loosen up, OP, it is a long haul. My parents agonized over my little brother's first name and by the time he was in high school everyone (including teachers) called him by a nickname (a shortened version of our last name).
Neither dear, I've employed nannies for over 9 years for my 3 kids. I just know how things work. You will never be happy if you wait for a perfect nanny. You have to be the boss and direct them.

Is this still 2015??? Your attitude is scary as hell. I hope you're a troll. If you're not, you have no business employing someone, let alone procreating. Anonymous wrote:Build a bridge and get over it. You've hired someone who cares deeply enough about your child to have a nickname for him and has a special bond with him. If you can't handle that, quit your job and stay home with your kid.
