Number 1 all the way.
Number 3 as a back up.
Number 2 you shouldn't even consider.
Congrats and goo luck!

Thanks for the advice! I went with number one and just got off the phone with them. I guess the only reason I kept number 2 in the mix was because it was so close.

Another vote for #1
Second choice would be #3
Unless you are desperate, I wouldn't even consider #2.

#1 -- Hands down. I would hate to be in a neighborhood with no where to walk and nothing to do if I walked there. Plus a six-month gig where you gat a brilliant and glowing recommendation is worth it's weight in gold.
Learn infant sign language and get your infant CPR training while you are in this position to up your desirability.

I'm in the wonderful position where I've gotten 3 job offers but I can't make up my mind on which one to accept. Please help me decide!
Here they are: All three are part time positions without guaranteed hours or benefits (I'm fine with this though)
Position 1: (right now probably my top choice)
-Part-time care for one infant (25 hours a week)
-20 minute drive from home
-really connected with parents
-they happily agreed to my rate with no back and forth
-only a 6 month position (I kind of like this though because it would give me an easy reference and update my infant experience on my resume)
-neighborhood is very walkable with lots to do
-would have to deal with 2 large dogs (I do like dogs though)
Position 2:
-Part-time care for 2 year old (30 hours a week)
-5-10 minute drive from home (I don't even need to get on highway)
-interview was a little awkward, I just didn't really hit it off with the parents
-lots of back and forth on pay and finally agreed to $2/hr below what I wanted
-have a feeling I am their second choice
-walkable neighborhood, but not much to do
Position 3:
-Part-time care for a one year old and 3 year old twins (25-30 hours a week)
-30 minute drive from home
-interview went great, really liked kids and parents
-a little back and forth on pay, but was able to get $2/hr more than what I got for position 1 because of more kids
-they live out in the country so no activities that we could walk to
