If she's going away the 17th-26th, all of that would be paid on the 30th. Now, if she's asked that the money be advanced, and you can afford it, I don't see any reason not to give it to her. There's no way she could end up not working those days.

I pay exactly as though she was working those days. Generally I would not advance salary.
