Unfortunately I had strep and my charge is 14 weeks. The parents advised I not be around him.

If some other offer is the real issue, well, do the economics, think long term and do whatever you want. Job hopping every 6 weeks isn't cool tho. Put in your notice, but have a good reason to bail on them. Lack of confidence bc you missed too much work isn't really one of them unless you have a chronic issue.
