I recently got a new phone (galaxy s3) and I'm learning all of it's quirks. Today was my first day on a new part time morning job. I got stuck in construction traffic for a very long time on my way in and ended up being 15 minutes late. I had agreed to watch a toddler but knew she had older siblings; I had been told I didn't need to watch them. But when I showed up, the older kids were there. MB told me it was my responsibility to take them to school, but now because I was late, they would be late (she had never mentioned this to me before). Obviously I felt terrible for being late in the first place and now felt worse about the older kids being late to school.
Then MB told me she had planned for me to take the toddler to an indoor playground they had a membership for which opened at 10am and was located almost 20 minutes away. She also made it very clear that we had to be home by 11:15 so she could make it to an appointment she had at 11:45. Of course the toddler made a big fuss when it was time to go (it felt like we had just gotten there and then had to leave), but I got her in the car just a couple minutes behind schedule. Then we got stuck behind a passing train that went on forever, and just general bad traffic. We didn't get home until 11:30; 15 minutes late AGAIN
I saw on my way back to their house my boyfriend had texted me ("having a good day?

" ). As soon as I left their house I clicked on the notification on my phone for my boyfriends text to respond. I typed out "it's been a horrible morning can't wait to see you later" and sent it. Then I saw it sent it to MB instead :'( I've tested this out a couple times since and noticed that when I get a new text and click on the notification for said text, my super awesome phone instead brings me to the last text I looked at instead, regardless of who it was from or when it was received. Facepalm.
