Maybe your boss was worried because it was dark outside.

Anonymous wrote:Silly question but MB saw me take a taxi home last night and then today. Normally I take a bus but I had to be somewhere after work. While getting my coat and noticing my taxi she asks " Do you plan on taking the bus or a taxi". I'm guessing she means in general and daily. I explained that I would be taking a bus majority of the time but I need to take a taxi because I have an appointment to get to. She is a very nice lady and the position is new but its a little odd. Frankly, its not much of their business how I get home but I don't mind sharing. Why do you think she wanted to know?

I doubt she had a particular agenda or reason for wanting to know. But I do think it's a fair question. If you relied on taxis to get home each night, you would probably be waiting inside her home between the time she returned home and you call for a ride and the time the cab appeared. With a bus, you would leave as soon as your work time was up.
