I think your best bet is to contact an agency since you are not certain you will need care.

There is nothing worse as a nanny than being in limbo about a job.

An agency will be able to place a nanny with you short notice and short term and able to find nanny work should you not need care.

Totally easy if you use an agency. Probably a little tougher to hire purely on your own for such a short duration but I'm sure it's doable. You just need to find someone reliable who's between jobs or something.

Congratulations on your growing family! For the right price, you can find anything you need. Or ask a friend or family to help out.

Due with #3 in a month. I thought we were settled on me staying home, but all of a sudden my DH throws out me going back to finish the school year. Of course the center where my daughters go does not have an opening. If I go back, it would be end of April, beginning of May. Instead of finding a place to take all 3 until the end of the school year, I would rather keep the older two in their center and find another place for baby. All three would be home with me for the summer, and I think I am staying home next year.

Is it doable to find someone for that time period? We are not public transportation accessible. The bus comes by the main entrance of the neighborhood, but we are a good mile back.
