Apologies in advance if this is in the wrong forum, but I didn't know where else to put this (maybe because I'm sleep deprived these days).
We are thinking of having a housekeeper come to our house 1x per week beginning in January (about 5-8 hours a week depending on the week). I'm not certain how to arrange to withhold the appropriate taxes. We are also planning to start with a nanny at the same time and I think we will be using the care.com service for the nanny's payroll. Does anyone know if I can use the care.com service for the housekeeper too? I'm trying to do everything correctly, but I don't want to over complicate things. Would it be easier just to work with an accountant?
Any suggestions? Am I not thinking of something/thinking clearly about this?
