I'm working since MB and DB are. But I also work a few other fed holidays they don't have off and in return I have a few extra PTO days.

Most employers do not offer that day as a paid holiday off because most schools and offices are on a regular schedule that day.

Yep, most likely. It's not a paid holiday in my contract. If the family happens to not need me (I know grandparents are visiting that weekend) then it will be a paid day off!
