My morning MB is ok with it. Sorry I didn't mention that at first. She mentioned me doing something like this.
We have a different sort of relationship. I've known them a while before I started doing morning care for them they are more like family. She was actually a reference for me for evening MB.

I sure hope you plan on talking to the morning mom. She's paying you to watch her kids, if she wanted you to watch other kids at the same time, she'd pay for a share. Find it really strange you are more concerned about how morning family would feel that the double dip family.

She may have other reasons for not offering the position. I would just mention that your availability has changed and allow her to bring it up if she wishes.

Well as the evening boss, I think it is fine to ask. As the morning boss, I'd be pretty annoyed you were looking to watch a couple of more kids when I'd hired you to watch mine. Especially if you didn't even discuss it with me.

Back in the summer I started a part time afternoon position. I pick up the children from the daycare and stay with them until mom is done work around 8pm at night.
A few weeks ago when school started I took a morning position a few days a week getting children to the bus.
I just saw on Care.com that the mom I work evenings for is seeking morning help.
The families live in the same neighborhood so it would be no problem to watch the little ones and make sure the older ones got on the bus.

When she hired me MB had asked if I could do regular nanny hours at the time I couldn't because I was working at a daycare and had made the commitment to stay with them through the summer.

I have stopped working at the daycare because of the morning job, and being a nanny is what I like best.

Would it be too forward for me to mention the job ad and ask to be considered for it? Would it offend you?
