Subject: Urgent! Ft nanny babysitting for her family
I think what the original poster is trying
to say is she makes $21 per hour and
works 35 hours a week. It always amazes
me that someone hires a person that
can't write a coherent sentence.

Wait this persons charges 21-35 an hr? That is what this post says ?
I should up my rate I charge 10 per hr. I just have such a hard time asking for what I'm worth since I've always made 10. Even going from 10 to 12 per hr seems like a lot.

Seriously, I think its up to you, but at 21 per hour, no need to change your rate. You will just go there and sit, since you said the kids may be already sleeping.

How far do you live from them? If it's close, just charge your normal rate and chalk it up to goodwill building. If you have to drive a distance to get there, I'd probably decline or ask for a 4-6 hr minimum. If it's a family I really like and we do each other favors I'd definitely factor that in.

If you feel that 2hours does not pay for your time you can:
1) ask them to pay more per hour
2) set a minimum hours
3) do a flat rate.
