PTO is usually two weeks either way but obviously part time means fewer days in those two weeks. So a nanny working three days per week would get six days vacation vs 10 days for full time.

The nanny can negotiate in her contract. I work 24 hours a week (care for newborn and 2 year old) and get paid federal holidays, 5 paid sick days, 2 weeks paid vacation per year, for now. I'd assume full-time would receive more vacation and sick days, and typically 401k, and a portion of health insurance covered..not sure how popular it is, but I've seen it.

What are the benefits for a part-time nanny or full-time nanny?
