I'm from Eugene. I've been a nanny on the east coast for years because getting any kind of a job in Eugene if difficult. Too many highly educated people wothout enough jobs to go around.

Getting a full time nanny job in Eugene would be nearly impossible and wouldn't pay much more then 11 per hr

I am a longtime nanny with years of experience.
I'm considering a move to Eugene, Oregon to be closer to family.
Does anyone have any insight into what the nanny market looks like there?
Also, The University of Oregon is located there.
Does having a large student population make it more difficult for a career nanny to find gainful employment?

Thank you!
