You're asking us whether you should take a job that conflicts with the class schedule that's causing you to leave your current position?

??

It sounds like you want to take the new job and do the class. Move forward with your life but give the family your currently working for a heads up ASAP. They'll need to find new child care.

I think you need to decide what is most important in your life right now. Working or going to school.

You cannot have it both ways at least not with the options you have presented.

You either take the job and hold off on the class or you decline the offer wait it out and hope another job comes your way that allows you to go to school.

I do not think it would be fair for you to take this job knowing you will quit in a month or two.

Lol. Funny.

I don't get it...The class is from 8-2 and the job would be from noon-6:30. So from 8-12 wouldn't you need to be two places at once??

I'd continue looking for a part time after school position that fits your schedule.

Is class 8-2, so 6 hrs a day? Really?

Maybe you can research preschools in your area and maybe post an ad there.

It's a 4 week nurse assistant course , so everything is condensed. I know I should keep looking, I just don't have very long to find a job.

Then why would you take this job? The hours don't work for you, right?

Well it depends which days you have class and which days the job is...

I am currently a nanny but want to change careers part of that career change involves me taking a class that is only offered days 8 to2 3 days a week I can take the class starting in either October or November. Because of this I have been looking for after school employment or night nanny positions

I have an offer for an after school position that is noon to 6:30pm 3 days a week starting asap.

They prefer to have someone stay the full school year.

I need a job .

Woudl you take it and keep looking or wait it out?
