This + 1000. Unless you have a really unique relationship with your employer (which occurs more frequently with nannies than other occupations), they don't care about you, they care about themselves. And when you continue to work with a child that requires you to call out more often leaving your employers stranded without child care, you'll start to put yourself in their shoes. But in the real world some employers are assholes and don't follow the law, leaving the employee to sue or prove a case with little resources. In reality you end up finding another job because you have bills to pay.
