Op here,

I can't even imagine how that must make you feel. I hope someday you are allowed peace and closure. Good vibes to you, friend.

They moved away unfortunately. Although the pay wasn't stellar, the family and I were very close

I got to skype with my old NF and the kids not only remembered me after two months being apart (3yrs and 2yrs as of yesterday) but were SO excited to see me and talk to me. They asked several times if I could come play and wanted to 'give me a hug'. It made me so, so happy that we are able to keep this contact.

3year old ever told me she 'loves me so, so, sooooo much!' Which was what we used to say to each other at nap time and bedtime. After spending 60 hours a week with them, I truly miss them but this gave me a really wonderful feeling to see them happy and doing well.

I am a very happy nanny today.

Aww that's awesome!! Congrats. Why'd you leave the job?
