Trolling early today, aren't you. In the event this is true then you are an effing ass. Mind your own business and I would be a lot more concerned about tossing a kid in the air.

I would talk with her - something along the lines of 23:12's advice.

"You don't seem yourself the last couple of weeks. Are you ok?"

Just say, you used to come in excited to start the day, and lately I've noticed your balloon has clearly popped. Is there anything we can do to help? We've come to care about you a lot, and it makes us sad to see you sad.

Maybe she broke up with a boyfriend.

You should get her a certificate for a mani pedi or message and let her know how much you appreciate her hard work and what an awesome person you think she is... Or even something on a smaller scale. Chocolates, special coffee... Let her know she's loved. Maybe she will open up and maybe she won't, but at least it will make her feel special.

Hello DCUM,

We have a full time nanny to care for our 3 year old and 9 month old. She is young, hip, fun, cool everything we looked for when we hired her (16months ago) . She always comes well presented nice neat and in a bubbly mood ALWAYS shes great! 2 weeks ago i noticed a change in her she didn't say goodmorning when she walked in she didn't pick our son up and throw him in the air like she always does and she seems down quiet and not herself (upon other things in the recent days). Ive never asked her about her personal life i dont want to come of as nosy but if something is going on in her personal life i dont want it to affect her job or her mood to rub off on my kids.
How do i go about the situation?
I want her to go back to her old self to get out of this rut shes in but i dont know what to do to cheer her up? I havent wanted to ask her anything personal but i think she might just need a shoulder to cry on or something. I have offered her to take some time off but she declined.
What can I do? I would hate to let her go. Please help.
