OP here - what do you think is a "small cash gift?" $50 or $100?

A card from the child, a thoughtful note from you saying how much you appreciated her, and a small cash bonus,

This is a good idea.

Give her a nice gift card - those are always easy and appreciated I think. A nice card from the kid would be great also.

A note and a reference letter. Everyone doesn't need a gift.

We have had someone part-time this summer for the first time to help with before and after camp care for our 5 yo. She was great and I'd like to give her an end-of-summer thank you gift. I don't know how I would have gotten through this summer without her! What would you suggest as a thank you?
