Call the agency tomorrow and say you'd like to stop by and pick up a copy of your contract.

Alright, so I worked a day for a woman through a nanny agency that I've worked with for a few years. Now the family had a problem with the agency and wants me to work for them directly. I said my contract wouldn't allow it, and they said they are posting an ad in a newspaper next week and if I respond then it shouldn't be a problem with the agency. Unfortunately I was never given copies of the contract I signed with the agency, so I don't know exactly what it said.

The problem is that the family pays very well and I could really use the money. I just don't want to get sued. This sounds a lot like a troll but I don't know where else to ask.
