Position is three days a week and 18hrs/week.

Benefits: Six days/year vacation, 2 days/sick time for a total of 8 days of PTO/year. Paid holidays if they fall on days scheduled. No health insurance. Pay metro commute costs. Potential for non PTO if she has an emergency and needs to leave for an unplanned trip.

No, we don't have a policy to guarantee hours. That said, we have not yet had a situation where we were gone and nanny needed to work. I would definitely pay her in this case and will look into formalizing guaranteed hours when we redo her contract.

Part time nannies and employers:

What benefits if any do you offer/receive?
How many hours a week is the job?
Do you have guaranteed hours?
