However my boss has never once told me to do something a certain way. Nor do I feel like I do things wrong. Everyday I take care of my charges and my goal is to provide them with fun opportunities for then to learn and grow.
I take my charges on lots of outings to the pool, park, library, museums, zoo, aquarium ect. Never once have I been told I'm doing this not the way I was told. I hardly ever get told anything, I just do my job and keep my charges happy, healthy and entertained.
The family never told you what the nap schedule should be, what foods to feed them, how to discipline them? I find it hard to believe.
I've been with the family for 2 years. I asked the first day what foods they like to eat. In the interview process we discussed using time outs. I always put kids down for a nap between 12 and 1 and let them sleep about 2 hrs.
My bosses have never questioned my judgement ever. I know how to feed children. I asked about allergies.
My point is I don't get lists of request daily from my bosses to do this or that. I don't think I'm doing this WRONG in their eyes.
Discussing something doesn't equal you being WRONG. If the parents have preferences it doesn't mean you are a BAD nanny. You sound insecure and defensive.
And how come after 2 year ago there was no change in what to feed them? Neither child grew teeth while under your care? Or it was dicussed at some point?

I can't believe you are a nanny or an MB...I'm guessing just some bored, single, cat lady who really can't find anything better to do with herself besides TRY to start fights on an anonymous internet forum. Again I say, GET A LIFE!
I always figured she was a bitter unemployed nanny who blamed everyone but herself of her failings
