I'm glad to hear I'm not the only nanny who never wants kids. Most of my friends look at me like I'm crazy when I say I never want kids. I told my former MB that my husband and I weren't planning on having kids and she looked at me like I just said I want to kill a baby. I will never make that mistake again by telling a MB. I love my job but I have no clue how parents do it all the time! I'm so patient with the kids, we have so much fun together and I absolutely love kids but it's because I get to go home at night and just relax with my husband.

I am the opposite! I am only 21, so kids are still a few years off for my SO and I, but I cannot wait for the day when we are financially ready for them. Even when my charges are having bad days, screaming, throwing fits, etc. I still want kids!

I had all three of my kids by the age of twenty-three, and trust me, had I been a nanny in my youth, I would have remained child free for the rest of my life.

Only half (sorta!) kidding.

What I have learned from nannying is:

+1 to nannying as birth control!

I'm 25 love children and most days have the baby crazies.... then I go to work with 3 kids fighting all day and it puts the baby crazies on the backburner for at least a month or two!

That I don't want kids. Like ever.

Love my charges but I cannot do this day in and day out for eternity without being paid and getting to leave at night
