I would expect at least $27.50, even for a long term nanny share. Three children from two families is a good amount of work, and more importantly, responsibility.

Nannies have every right to be appropriately compensationed for the level of responsibility they have.

Also, even for a short commitment, ALWAYS please make sure to put your agreement in writing for them to sign.

I would probably charge $10 an hour for the extra charge. Since it doesn't sound like it will be an ongoing share, just additional babysitting.
