But men still control our pay, in part. Last DH had a spreadsheet that tracked every cent and sent him alerts if they went over their childcare budget. MB was far more concerned with quality.

So? The point was that women who negotiate their job offers or compensation packages are seen in a negative light while men who do the same are not.

It does not matter if 0 men in the world nannied (they do, of course); the women who nanny would still be subjected to the unfair societal double standard.
