Those workplaces are not someone else's home. They are large offices with separate gyms and the workers are off - they can leave the building if they chose on their lunch hour - not true for nannies. We are still working during our charges nap times and we are in someone's home. Feels creepy and unprofessional to me.

You take a break to eat your lunch and decompress during nap time, I assume? I'm not sure how me choosing to use that time to do yoga, while still being available to the children, is any different. My charge's take a nearly three hour nap in the afternoon. Its plenty of time for me to eat, do any tasks I have to do, get in a workout, and jump in the shower. It works for us.
