If neither you nor your child were sick or receiving medical care, you need to use annual leave.

My daycare center was closed unexpectedly one day last week and we didn't have backup care so I had to take the day off from work to watch my kids. Question: I'm a federal govt employee. Can I use sick leave or do I need to use annual leave to cover that day?
