Ugh! As with any other job, the offer is in gross pay! I'm not OP, but you should be able to figure out your own taxes!

In my personal opinion of nannies, ECE credits do not compare w/someone who actually has hands on actual childcare experience.
Learning from a textbook is not the same as directly and personally working with a child one on one.

The most she's worked with is 2. No background in ECE. English is not her first language which is not out preference but she has the personality we are looking for and her English is understandable certainly.
Please be kind in your responses. I'm honestly trying to be fair but if we start much higher than $20/hr we won't have much room for annual raises.
This sounds fine to me, I'm sure she will accept. Be sure to budget for some kind of Christmas bonus too!

I think you're right, seeing that she doesn't like to talk about money. I'm guessing she must have someone else to support her; few of us WORKING women have that luxury.
