A death in the family doesn't mean the world stops. She still could have sent an email, text, or called.

Nanny here and I say yes. I think just a simple "no show for interview without a phone call or text" would do. I don't see why others are saying no. I think that shows her lack of professionalism and parents should know.

She tried to interview her. I think being a no show is a gigantic red flag. There is no way this individual will make a good employee. Even if something came up, a phone call or email would have been better than nothing.

I see no good reason why not. If you simply state what happened in a matter of fact way, what's wrong with that? I think parents need to know about these irresponsible women wasting people's time, and as a nanny that uses that site, I think the bad apples should be called out. She will probably just delete her profile and start over, BUT maybe she'll think twice before standing someone up again.

S/O question. I posted last week about the nanny (from Care.com) who didn't show up for our scheduled interview or call to cancel. I texted her before the interview to confirm and heard nothing, and emailed her to see if we had confused the time and she never responded. Should I write a review on Care.com on her profile about my experience? My husband says no, but wanted to see what others think.
