That's not really a mother's helper. A mother's helper usually helps while you are at home. This sounds more like an after school nanny.

Which college are you closest to?

Put your ad up on Care.com and see who replies. The same kind of person who doesn't mind working with others (and her boss) at a daycare might like some evening hours, and may be more reliable than a college student.

Neighborhood listservs - you want tween/teenage girls for this. The number of hours you're talking about is a lot though - you might need to find a few kids and rotate them in/out.

When I was in college I tended to look for jobs like this because they tended to be the most flexible if I had midterms or finals coming up and couldn't give quite as many hours on that particular week. If you think you could offer the same, a college student might be a good fit.

How old are your children?

I would go with someone young, like a high-schooler perhaps.

No high end experienced nanny will like to work alongside another adult in the home.

Good luck.

Good luck. I don't anyone who wants to be a mother's helper. No one likes working with SAHM's. You need to find someone who is very young and inexperienced.
