records and saves. I'd like it to be discrete, but I wouldn't be overly concerned if someone saw it, it may add extra security, but not all are so observent.

Depending on your state, you cannot record sound along with the video without the person's knowledge.

not for the nanny, it actually would only be in the office area where I want to protect some other information and valuables etc. from contracters etc. that will be in and out of the home.
I would need to go to a retailer today as work starts tomorrow. any suggestions? again, not looking to debate "nanny cams" and it won't even be used for that purpose, just thought my friends here would have some insight.
