OP here

+1 on the slow bump! If they didn't have a nasty cold all week last week we would have eased them into it but all that they wanted/needed last week was lots of sleep, fluids, and cuddles!

Too late to do it now, unfortunately, but in the future you can slowly bump their schedule day by day in the time leading up to Daylight Saving Time. Makes the transition easier.

Oh my word my 1yo charge has been a pill all day from both a cold and the time change. Probably more the cold but man today has been brutal!

No sorry. My charges (twin 1 &1/2 yr olds) always roll with the punches. Time changes, time zone changes nothing fazes them. They woke up at their normal time (by the clock) and just went down for their nap at normal time (2pm). Fortunately its never been a probably. Even flying to Europe or Australia didn't bother them.
We (parents and I) are very lucky.

I really hate daylight savings in general but this time around is particularly rough. The 1 yr old twin boys I watch are getting over a cold and transitioning from 2 naps a day to 1 nap a day and now we're also transitioning into daylight savings. Suffice to say they have been grouchy little monsters today and I have little hope that tomorrow will be much better. Thankfully they should be sorted and on their new schedule by Friday but it's going to be one hell of a week!

Anyone else have extra grouchy kids today?
