MB has my 1yo charge walk me to the door nightly like a gentleman. She's done it from my first day when he was 10weeks old, and has never missed a day. It's such a little thing in the grandness of life but man does it make me just glow inside.

Every now and then, our nanny will make dinner. I'm a single mom, and she always seems to know when I could use some unexpected help.
She is also awesome in a thousand other ways and I'm grateful my DD has such a kind and thoughtful person in her life.

My family also walks me out every day and waves to me as I leave, they don't have to do that!

My employers are beyond friendly, flexible and down to earth. Let me eat whatever I like as well as grab anything I like at the grocery store for meals. Always pay me on time (direct deposit), give me plenty of notice for change, have never told me no when I requested off and tell me all the time that I am a part of the family! I truly appreciate and respect them and love their little one.

She lets me go early often and pays me. She lets me eat anything I want. She generally doesn't interfere with my routine. She doesn't nag or belittle. I'm lucky. I love my family so very much!

The five-month-old in my care remembers me after a long weekend now and greets me with a huge smile, raising his fat little arms for me to take him - that's all I need.
My MB and DB pay me on time and are rarely late coming home - that's enough for me.

Our kids' nanny will sometimes pick up some basic items for us when she's at the market.
If I've done laundry but haven't had time to put it all away sometimes I'll find it neatly folded and left on my bed.
She almost always leaves the kitchen spotless.
Most of all, when we need her to stay with the kids if we have to travel she is always thrilled to do it and I feel total trust and confidence in her while we're away. That isn't a small thing (as you asked) - but it's a HUGE thing for me and trumps everything else.

MB leave me a "I'm so happy you're our nanny" note every Friday morning. It really makes me want to continue going above and beyond for my NF. They are awesome!!

Every time she goes to Whole Foods, MB wants to know what I'd like to have.

MB sends me pics and videos of my little person over the weekend. If they go on vacation, she makes sure we do FaceTime while they're gone.

MB or DB will drive me home or pay for a cab if it is freezing cold or happens to be an especially trying day for me with LO.

So much negativity around here, so I thought I'd try to start a positive thread.
Nannies: What little thing does your NF do that you appreciate?
MB/DB: What little thing does your nanny do that you appreciate?
