MB here. Tell them again that you cannot wait for a job until July. If starting employment more immediately is an option you'd be happy to talk with them but otherwise you would be wasting their time.

So I applied to a great job on Sittercity and the family got back to me and let me know they do not need someone until July! Now they want to have a phone interview and possibly meet, even though I told them I need to be working ASAP. I am unsure of what to do. I don't want to be rude or miss out on a great opportunity by turning down any interviews, but it seems pointless as I can't just sit around until July and wait for them to need me. I am willing to chat with them on the phone, but really don't want to waste time/gas driving to their home to meet them. What would you do?
