Yes, but with a given amount of sick and/or vacation time (or personal leave) there is a finite amount of time that can be taken in a year. Nanny works 4 1/2 days of a 5 day week, uses 1/2 day for sick leave or vacation. You have to track that leave over time. It isn't an issue of the paycheck (unless nanny exceeds the paid leave time and has to take some unpaid) but rather of tracking leave balances.

There are many apps. We use Timely ( iTunes) and email MB and DB my time sheet and they leave me a check every Friday morning. There are also ones you and MB can see in realtime and both be connected.
Go to iTunes and search " nanny timesheeet". It will come up with a bunch of options. Its also much easier than writing everything down.

Another MB who would love to find a solution for this also.
We do have a calendar on which we mark any vacation/sick leave, but it would be great to have a tool that would calculate remaining balances based on time used, from which we could generate a printout, and which - ideally - our nanny could access as well. It isn't so much a hassle w/ the weeks of vacation leave, but the two or three hours here and there for doctor's visit, personal leave time, etc...

Can you just buy a calendar and mark it down? so Monday 8-6, Tuesday PTO 8-6, Wed 8-7:30 because of meeting after work, Thurs 10-6 (2 hrs PTO) etc

OP here: I use nannytaxes and they dont keep time so her schedule varies each week and I'm trying to track that but most importanlty the days she takes PTO , etc

I'm not quite sure I understand what kind of tracking you're looking for? Maybe use a payroll service for her paycheck so you can keep track of hours that way?
