If you want your money you're going to need to go to small claims court and fill out paperwork to get it because I promise you, this women isn't going to cough up the money without the law getting involved.

She owes me about $750 and keeps saying that she is having financial trouble. I told her that was fine and that I needed to be paid by 2/12. She agreed to that date. Currently she still has not paid me. She will not keep the communication line open and talk to me when I email and call. On the 12th, she said she needed another day to "find the funds". Again, I agreed. Since then she has not communicated with me about what her plans are or when she will pay. We are in the South, and have had a few snow days but I don't think she has suddenly "forgotten" that I have worked. This was supposed to be my last pay since she and DB are putting their DD into daycare.
