You write a separate monthly check with "health insurance" in the memo line.

We are planning on paying for nanny's health insurance. It is my understanding that health insurance payments are tax deductable. what is the best way to pay for health insurance to ensure it is tax deductable. Do I just write a separate check for it? Or should I go about it differently?
