If I were a nanny I would HATE having to track down my checks. If it's a set number of hours per week, w/ a long-term position, I would request direct, automated deposit. The employer authorizes payroll/payment weekly (or simply sets it up and doesn't have to do anything unless there is a change for that week) and then it's done.
