I worked for this company for about a month and it was the worse experience of my life. They basically call you and send you in the middle of nowhere and I am not even sure they match the nanny's requirement with the family or vice versa. They sent me somewhere where the client treated me like dirt, refused I take a lunch break and had devil kids, and was home with her mother basically sitting there telling me what to do all day. When I called the company to complain, they fired me. They are the worse, especially the Bethesda branch. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS PLACE!

Any recent feedback on this company?

Worst agency ever... they do not do checks. They sent a candidate to my home who had babysat for me before. This women no call no showed and then I found out she stole from a friend of mine. They caught her on their Nest Cam and pressed charges. i would not trust this company.

Nothings changed. I still see them post on care.com and Craigslist. They don't require a background check up front, they can send you to clients for interviews without one, but say they require one to start working. The interview they do is minor and they clearly don't "get to know" the nannies, they just go in a file. Really, paying them to browse care.com for you is such a waste. Just sign up for care.com yourself and message some people and interview 2-3 if that is the level of nanny you are looking for.

I went through the process with them for a nanny for the summer. I was told part of the initial fee covers a background check, so I would be upset if this were not true. They sent me two candidates which were not at all what I was looking for. The woman who handled the search was very defensive and unapologetic when I asked for additional candidates. She rarely replied to calls and emails and when she did, they were often rude and "snarky." I ended up getting a refund and found a wonderful nanny on my own.
A friend of mine had actually recommended them, but later stopped using them after finding out how little they pay their nannies compared to how much they charge. There is a costly search fee which, imo, could be worth it. However, I don't think it's fair to double the rate they charge versus what they pay out.

They pay the nannies low wages, no matter what their experience is.

Nanny here. They didn't do a background check on me either! I am in graduate school so maybe they just assumed I was fine. I did find an awesome tutoring job though!

That comment above is a complete lie. You cannot work for this company without a backround check and formal references! Also, Craigslist has absolutely NOTHING to do with the company! It is a private company with great nannies! I have hired my nanny through them and she had been a blessing to my family and it's absurd to see these kind of postings!

I registered to be a nanny.. They do have you come in for an interview, but all they do is post the jobs on Craigslist. A parent doesn't need to pay them to post jobs on Craigslist. They didn't even do a background check on so You have no idea what type if girls they are hiring. I have years if experience and a background check on both my sittercity and Urbansitter profile along with great reviews. Ultimately, they don't really provide anything.
