Thanks for lightening things up a bit! It really would be great to go back to bed or drink hot chocolate and watch movies! If you're the crafty type, this is a great day to drag out the oversized paper, glitter, finger paint or other item that you usually ignore because of the hassle. You could also try having a pajama party, making up cold weather tall tales, etc I'm just really grateful the heat is functioning properly and hot tea is in endless supply!

Don't see what the big fuss is about; normal winter weather. It isn't raining or snowing, there's no ice, sidewalks are clear. If this was a weekend day, I'd bundle up my son and take him out for a walk, perhaps not our usual 2-hr thing but at least 45 mins or so.

Eh. It wasn't really that bad this morning, and I got to wear my cute new hat gloves and scarf. My MB also made muffins!

I feel the same. My employers and I follow school closings but I decided to be responsible and still come into work even though schools are closed. There's no need for me to stay home because of the cold. Darn being a responsible person.

Haha no can do. But I'll be dreaming of being back in my bed today.

Call in with frostbite. Explain that because you don't make enough money, you cannot afford to turn on the heat. Kill 2 birds with one stone - get a raise, and a few days off!

Wish I was more irresponsible sometimes so I could call in sick tomorrow.
