I will not get a huge bonus, if I get a bonus at all, it will be about 2% of my salary like last year's was. I'm in a different field, have less experience and less education than many of those very high earners. There's no way I could make that kind of money.
Yet, the nanny with minimal education and work experience thinks she should get a big bonus because those in a completely different line of work are.
What makes you think you know OP's work experience or education? The fact that you assume she's inexperienced or uneducated says a lot.
My apologies. I suppose it's possible for a nanny to have an MBA and to have worked in finance for the past 15 years.
What is wrong with you? It is completely possible for a nanny to have an advanced degree, and 15 years of experience in her field. Are MBAs and finance experience how you measure the worth of everyone no matter the field? Lol![]()

I'm a nanny working both a FT job and a PT job. My FT MB usually gives me my bonus around the 23rd but my PT MB, for whom I work only 8 hours a week, gave me $200 yesterday. SO NICE! I also babysit for a family 2-4 nights per month and they gave me $100 and some home cooked treats this week. I'm very lucky to work for so many generous families.

But, hey, rock on with your ignorant self.
Your nanny probably isn't as dumb as you seem to think she is, pp. GL.
